Nearly 6,000 items bearing various protected trademarks were seized during a GDCOC police operation in Stara Zagora on 9 June 2026.
During the search of a premises, officers found over 5,500 perfumes, more than 450 perfume testers and over 20 textile products. Pre-trial proceedings were opened under the supervision of the Stara Zagora District Prosecutor’s Office.
Three people were charged under Articles 321(3) and 172b of the Criminal Code — for trading in a trademark and products without the consent of the holder of the exclusive right.
